移民局官网发布2023-24财年189首轮EOI邀请（23年12月18日）官报。本次狂发8300个189邀请，包括医疗、护理类、社工类、教师等职业。多个职业65分获邀。

州担保配额使用情况更新
财年过半，移民局官网更新了本财年截止2023年12月31日各州州担配额的实际使用情况：
- 目前NSW的剩余配额最多。新州一向是竞争激烈，工作经验丰富和拥有配偶加分的申请人有很大优势。
- 维州190还有978个配额，州政府计划于2024年初关闭州担保。
- 西澳还有587个190配额，430个491配额。
- 南澳的491剩余配额比190多，491还有58%的余量。
- 昆州190剩余43%，491剩余59%。
- 堪培拉190剩余24%，491剩余32%，下一轮邀请会在2月5日前。
- 塔州190剩余38%，491剩余56%，州政府表示每周最多发放30个邀请。
- 北领地190和491已关闭申请。
