西澳大学（theUniversityof Western Australia）创校于1911年，坐落在西澳大利亚州的首府珀斯，是西澳地区唯一一所八大名校。
西澳大利亚州被称为澳大利亚的能源及矿业之都，一个只有澳大利亚11%人口但是却创造并支撑全澳大利亚经济近50%的奋进之州。
克劳利(Crawley)主校区坐落于天鹅河畔，是西澳洲最古老的校园，其赤褐色的校园建筑多用大块的沙岩建造而成，掩映于景色优美、被列为遗产的公园之中，因此被公认为澳大利亚最美丽的校园之一。
